Cardiologist & Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Dr Emily Hodkinson is a consultant cardiologist with a special interest in electrophysiology and pacing.

Emily is from Northern Ireland and graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004 following completion of their Medicine with French language programme.

She completed advanced cardiology training in Belfast and then came to Sydney for further training. She completed research at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in inherited cardiac channelopathies namely Long QT syndrome.

Dr Emily Hodkinson went on to complete advanced clinical fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology /pacing with leaders in electrophysiology in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals in London where she gained further expertise in AF ablation, congenital heart disease and pacing.
